Storing personal data

4.  How is your personal information stored and managed?

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We use MailChimp to send our email marketing campaigns, which uses details such as your name, surname and email.  They keep this data secure with highly complex encrypted scanners and data and continuously monitor and will automatically suspend accounts for signs of irregular or suspicious login activity.

5. Data security

As you can see, every effort has been made to put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. You can be reassured that employees have limited access to your information and will only process your data in strict confidentiality.

Please note that if we suspect a personal data breach we are legally required to notify you and any applicable regulator.

You should be aware that, where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password safe and confidential and you must not share it with anyone.

Finally, you must know that despite all these efforts, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure, even at the highest level of security. As such, you are ultimately responsible for any transmission of your data, which is at your own risk.  However, we (and our service providers) have procedures in place to prevent any unauthorised access.
